Marble is one of the oldest known rocks from the human civilizations. The marble is metamorphic rock consisted of calcite or calcite and dolomite. In minor quantities marble include different minerals – graphite, chlorite and other. These minerals determine the color variations in the marble – white, grey, yellow, green. The majority of the marbles have massive texture, but some of the marbles has vein texture, net texture or another. Since the ancient times, the marble is one of the most valuable stone. The marble is the material for some of the world’s most famous buildings, sculptures and statues. The marble is well accepted as interior or exterior works material.
